Sustainability

Vorwerk Gruppe Rauental Begrünung

Sustainability that enables growth

At Vorwerk, sustainability is a strategic priority that shapes how we design products and run our company. It gives our growth purpose and direction: we design products made to last and apply the same intent across our operations.

Our focus areas for the Culinary & Cleaning business – Circularity, Climate, and Community – aren't chosen at random. They're derived from a double materiality assessment, first conducted in 2024 and updated regularly, which identifies the sustainability topics most relevant to our business and our stakeholders. This structure connects concrete initiatives in product development, operations, and the way we work with customers, advisors, colleagues, and partners around the world.

Strategy 2030 for the Culinary & Cleaning business translates this into measurable targets: reducing emissions in our own operations, working with partners to lower the impact of materials and processes across our value chain, and making sustainable choices easier for everyone who uses our products daily.

Climate

Reduce emissions, build resilience. We work to cut emissions in our own operations – targeting a 25% reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030 for our Culinary & Cleaning business – these reductions will be based on direct efficiency and energy measures, not on emissions compensation.

Next to it, we collaborate with partners across our supply chain to improve efficiency and meet regulatory requirements.
