1.2 PRINCIPLES OF THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Your data is protected in accordance with the statutory provisions. Below you will find information on the collection of personal data on these websites, available on the Internet at www.vorwerk-group.com (hereinafter also referred to as the website).
1.2.1 PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF PROCESSING
The protection of your personal data on our website is important to us. We only process the personal data of our users insofar as this is necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services.
1.2.2 LEGAL BASIS
The processing of personal data of our users takes place with your consent or on the basis of a legal authorization.
Insofar as we obtain consent for the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the legal basis for the processing. When processing personal data that is necessary for the fulfilment of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b) GDPR is the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations that are necessary for the performance of pre-contractual measures.
Insofar as the processing of personal data is necessary to fulfil a legal obligation to which we are subject, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR is the legal basis. In the event that vital interests of the data subject or another natural person require the processing of personal data, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. d) GDPR serves as the legal basis.
If the processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and if the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not outweigh this interest, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR is the legal basis for the processing.
1.2.3 DATA DELETION AND STORAGE PERIOD
Irrespective of a possible revocation of your consent, we process and store your personal data for as long as and to the extent necessary for the fulfilment of the respective purposes. If your data is no longer required for the stated purposes, it will be regularly deleted. This is done taking into account existing statutory retention periods and obligations under the German Commercial Code (§ 89b HGB).
1.2.4 RECIPIENTS OR CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS
If this is necessary for the provision of the website or the processing activities described in section 2, we transmit your data to the following categories of recipients: postal service providers, IT providers.
For the purposes of postal advertising and market research, we may also transfer your address data to affiliated companies, unless you have objected to this. Your data will not be transferred to a third country.

However, this does not apply if your objection is directed against processing for the purpose of advertising. In the event of a justified objection, the data will be deleted.
In the case of automated decision-making (including profiling), you also have the right to express your point of view on automated decision-making and to have this decision manually checked for accuracy by us.
To exercise your rights, please contact the above-mentioned controller, as your rights are also to be implemented there. However, you can also contact the data protection officer, especially if your request requires a higher level of confidentiality.

If you have given us your consent to process your personal data, you can revoke this at any time - also by e-mail to: vorwerk@vorwerk.de . A cancellation does not affect the legality of the processing that has taken place up to that point.
2 PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
2.1 PROVISION OF THE WEBSITE
Each time our website is accessed, data and information are automatically processed by the computer system of the accessing computer. The following data is collected: The name of your Internet service provider; the browser type/version; the website from which you are visiting us and the web pages you visit on our site as well as the time of the server enquiry.
Such log files do not contain complete IP addresses or any other data that would allow us to identify you. This information is analyzed for statistical purposes and then deleted. The individual user remains anonymous.

2.2 CONTACT FORM AND E-MAIL CONTACT
We provide a contact form on our website that can be used to contact us electronically. The processing of the personal data from the input mask serves us exclusively to process your request. If you contact us by email, this also constitutes the necessary legitimate interest in processing the data.
If you use this method of contact, the data entered in the input mask will be transmitted to us and stored. These data are Title; surname, first name; postal address; email address; telephone number; details of your interest.
Alternatively, you can also contact us via the email address we provide. In this case, the personal data transmitted with the email will be stored. The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
As part of the sending process, you give us your consent to process your data with the following text:

2.3 Reporting systems for legal violations (HinSchG and LkSG)
If you have a relationship with us as part of your professional activity, we offer you the opportunity to report suspected compliance or legal violations on our website (whistleblower reporting system). You also have the opportunity to inform us of human rights or environmental risks or violations of human rights or environmental obligations along our suppliers' supply chains outside of your professional activities (supply chain reporting system).
We use the SpeakUp system from the service provider People InTouch for this purpose. You can access the SpeakUp system via the links communicated on our website. You can use it to leave a message in writing or by telephone, also anonymously. The purpose of data processing is to inform, check and process information about potential violations of compliance principles or applicable laws and regulations.
As a rule, data on the content of the reported offence and contact details (if the report is not anonymous) are collected and processed.
The person affected by the data processing may be the whistleblower and the accused. All information is treated as strictly confidential. However, we also take into account the legitimate interests of the person affected by a report when clarifying the information. In addition to the external service provider (People InTouch), recipients of the data may also be external lawyers or authorities.
The legal basis for processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. c) GDPR in conjunction with Section 10 HinSchG (Whistleblower Protection Act) and Section 8 LkSG (Supply Chain Due Diligence Act) due to the legal obligation incumbent on us.
