Two Very Special Relationships: Jitka Pomahačová and Jaroslav Novák From the Czech Republic

In our series on the most successful advisors, today we introduce you to Thermomix® advisor Jitka Pomahačová and Kobold advisor Jaroslav Novák from the Czech Republic, who are two of these special people.
Jitka Pomahačová and Jaroslav Novák are two of our outstanding advisors at Vorwerk who impress with their passion, their closeness to their clients and their professional integrity. Thermomix® advisor Jitka Pomahačová, who has now sold more than 1,000 appliances, joined Vorwerk in July 2015 - she had previously worked in a travel agency. Her move to Vorwerk was characterised by a desire for a new challenge: "My first sale was to my friend, on whom I ,only' wanted to train the demonstration," recalls the 47-year-old. This first positive experience symbolises the start of her career at Vorwerk, during which she not only sold products, but also built up trusting relationships with her customers. "I'm happy every time I receive photos and nice messages from my customers thanking me for my help and advice," says Jitka. She has long had a friendly relationship with many of them, as the advisor has even saved some relationships with her work.

The Czech advisor describes every demonstration as an experience and emphasises that she particularly enjoys immersing herself in people's kitchens - "the heart of every household". And she herself also has a very special relationship with Thermomix®: "I live in a 140-year-old mill in the middle of nowhere and teach people how to bake sourdough bread. This is my everyday life, with my three Thermomix® I use the gifts and fruits of nature - waste-free and packaging-free. The Thermomix® perfectly supports my lifestyle." And she can also pursue another passion from her previous professional life while working at Vorwerk: travelling. "The greatest reward for me is when we are honoured with travel awards at competitions. I meet great people who are just as passionate and enthusiastic as I am and some of whom have become a real family to me," says Jitka.
Success through hard work and honesty
In the beginning, Jaroslav Novák actually only wanted to earn a Kobold vacuum cleaner himself with his work at Vorwerk - 25 years later, he is a very successful advisor in the Czech Republic with almost 9,000 motorised Kobold appliances sold! For the family man, who even met his wife through Vorwerk, "hard work and honesty" are the cornerstones of his success. This paid off after just 14 days when Jaroslav made his first sale. Since then, numerous product demonstrations have followed: "I remember one demonstration in particular: I was accompanying a newcomer at the time. I had to go to the toilet urgently, so I quickly prepared the Kobold, but didn't have time to show anything. And when I came back from the bathroom, the customer told me that he would like to buy the Kobold," says Jaroslav.
Close contact with his customers is what characterises the successful advisor. "In my opinion, spending time with them is the best training. You can't simulate something like that or learn it at a table," says Jaroslav. "And carrying the bag with the products somewhere on the fourth floor also keeps me fit." The 62-year-old is also very active in his private life and takes care of the garden. Only when it comes to cleaning does he like to take the convenient and time-saving route: Jaroslav loves vacuuming and mopping simultaneously.
