In the world of our direct sales, there are personalities who shine far beyond the sales figures. In our series about our tireless advisors who have sold the most Thermomix® or Kobold appliances in their Vorwerk market, today we introduce you to Kobold advisor Heiko Spaarschuh from Germany who is one of these inspiring people.

Heiko Spaarschuh is certainly not lacking in determination. On the contrary: the 49-year-old draws particular motivation from adversity. ‘’The best demonstrations are always the ones when you think it's already over. But then the fighter in me comes out and success is guaranteed,‘’ says Heiko. This trait is what sets him apart and has brought him many successful moments. Since 2007 alone (he has actually been working for Vorwerk for 21 years, with a break in between) the advisor for the Düsseldorf region has sold more than 12,000 motorised Kobold appliances and was recently honoured at the "Ball der Besten" (ceremony for the best Kobold advisors) for the highest sales.

Heiko's journey began in 1996, when he started his career at Vorwerk at the suggestion of a Team leader at the time. Because of his role as an advisor, he was able to organise his working hours himself – unlike in his previous job as a gas and water installer. And during his very first demonstration, he sold an electric carpet brush (ET 340). "I had very good trainers back then, to whom I owe a great deal." Heiko worked his way up to a Team leader himself.

„The best product in the world“

For the advisor, success is no coincidence, but the result of hard work, continuous training and a deep understanding of the needs of his customers. "My ambition is to inspire customers and to convey to them that they are getting the best product in the world," says Heiko. "A good advisor is always on hand and gives everything for the company, for themselves and for the customers." Five days a week, always on the ball, then everyone can achieve their goals. Yet despite all this, he still has time to enjoy life. In his free time, Heiko likes to travel, meet up with friends, enjoy good food and drive a convertible when the weather is nice.

He is not afraid to try new things in his work either. "I like to embrace new challenges," says Heiko. "Above all, it is important for me to know the products – both the new and the old ones. Only in this way can I provide the best possible support for customers and solve problems immediately."

Valuable memories

Heiko values the special moments at Vorwerk, such as the numerous events for the most successful advisors. These opportunities to meet many colleagues are not only professional highlights for him, but also create valuable memories that fill him with pride. According to him, teamwork is also behind this: "That's why I would like to express my sincere thanks to the Team leaders, my colleagues, including those in the office and behind the scenes, for their many years of support."
